Derby Health & Rehabilitation’s Executive Director, John Brand, visited Washington, DC for the Future Leaders in Long-Term Care meeting. This meeting discussed the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

John also had the opportunity to speak with Kansas Representative, Roger Marshall about the importance of protecting Medicaid funding for Kansas long-term care facilities.

“The real focus with Congressman Marshall was on postponing and reevaluating the CMS requirements for participation for Nursing Centers.” John said.

“The experience was incredible.”
